Logistics Coordinator

Edison, NJ

The Logistics Coordinator provides overall direction and supervision and operational assistance to the Logistics Manager wherever needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers
  • Provides constant communications of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal (Alba WSD) and external (Customer)
  • Performs load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties.
  • Coordinates daily data entry into Alba WSD’s warehouse management-system.
  • Coordinates with office CSR and Finance invoicing teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly customer invoices
  • Ensures accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks
  • Provides weekly KPI/performance data reports to both internal and external parties
  • Assists Logistics Manager with implementing Alba WSD’s Safety, Security and Labor policies
  • Assists and provides coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays and irregular work schedules
  • Assist in maintaining driver payroll
  • Provides assistance to Logistics Manager wherever needed


  • Perform floor/dock checks and random equipment inspections.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in 3PL logistics
  • Computer applications experience including MS Office and WMS strongly desired
  • Excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision making skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask
  • Ability and availability to work extended hours including nights and weekends as needed by the customer

Customer Service Representative

Edison, NJ

Alba Wine and Spirits is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service team in our Edison, NJ facility.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

Customer Service Functions Responsible for answering incoming calls. Work in a team environment. Knowledge and understanding of department procedures & overall company operations. Handle telephone calls with professionalism in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. Manage difficult callers with expertise and confidence. Participate in regular staff meetings. Perform other job duties as assigned by the Customer Service Manager. Candidate must be flexible and dynamic with a willingness to tackle new projects.

Order Processing Process orders directly into software program with a high level of accuracy and efficiency according to established procedures. Research as needed for pick up requests, requests for returns replacement and exchanges.

AP/AR Analysis functions

Daily AP analysis functions including coding invoices, using ageing reports, past due letters/emails and phone calls. Research and resolve discrepancies by working with customers and internal personnel for AR assessorial charges.


2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience with WMS and DMS programs helpful. Previous work experience in Customer Service and/or Credit/AR.

Exhibit a professional demeanor both in person and on the phone. Possess good analytical skills. Attention to detail is a must. Excellent communicator demonstrating enthusiasm and “can do” approach to the job.

Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Edison, NJ

Alba Wine and Spirits is looking for dedicated and highly motivated Material Handler/Forklift Operators to join our 3PL team!


There are many responsibilities for a warehouse material handler, and it all focuses around the products that Alba Wine and Spirits offers. Whether they are unloading or loading a truck, picking an order, staging material to be delivered, assisting a customer with pickups or organizing the inventory on hand. All work must be done within prescribed standard work processes, especially when it comes to performing work tasks that are managed by our Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Job Duties:

Some of the main duties these individuals are responsible for include:

  • Pulling orders and properly assign to ship location/area
  • Loading, unloading, verifying deliveries before shipment
  • Loading and unloading vendor and common carrier vehicles
  • General forklift maintenance and reporting maintenance necessities, fill out daily equipment safety log
  • Operates order picker and forklift in and around warehouse
  • Wraps order on pallet for shipment
  • Loads and unloads shipments, pallets, etc.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
  • Ability to work together in a team effort in all areas within warehouse
  • Must pass background and drug screening

Average Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week

Hours Employee Must Be Available: All Shifts, Monday thru Sunday

Work environment: Normal exposure to weather and temperature extremes in addition to the various temperature controlled areas within the warehouse.

Required experience:

  • Forklift and RF Scanning: 1 year

Required license or certification:

  • Forklift Certification

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Required language:

  • Must be able to communicate, write and read in English
